Swarms & Bee Removal
Swarms & Bee Removal
Here at Funny Farm Apiaries we will remove a swarm from your property if it can be done safely. We do not remove bees from a structure. Please notify someone from the Lehigh Valley Beekeepers Association that can perform a cutout. Swarming is a honey bee colony's natural means of reproduction. In the process of swarming, a single colony splits into two or more distinct colonies. The bees will raise several queens because their existing queen will swarm (leave) from the hive with part of the bees from the hive. New queens will hatch and one will remain with the remainder of the hive.
